Heuchera 'Coral Bouquet'

Heuchera 'Coral Bouquet'
10 inches tall x 18 inches wide
Very large, shrimp-pink flowers on stems to 24". Probably the largest flowers of any Heuchera. 
Green leaves with light silver veil. Petite mounds of foliage are fairly dense. Does best with a fair amount of sun and needs good air circulation and drainage to perform well.

Heuchera cylindrica var. glabella

Heuchera cylindrica
8-12 inches tall x 14 inches wide
Cream to white flowers on stems to 24" tall. 
Green foliage in petite mounds. 

Heuchera cylindrica ranges from northeastern California to Alaska and is found in crevices at altitueds to 10,000'. It's been used in breeding and has yielded hybrids with fairly large flowers densely packed on tall stems.

Bred by Thierry Delabroye and introduced in 2017.

Foliage emerges chartreuse with red blush and ages to apple green with light silver veil. Ruffled. Dense mounds.

Coral-pink flowers on stems to 28"
Light green leaves with moderate silver veil. Fairly dense mounds. Good performer.
A selection bred from H. x brizoides, sanguinea, americana, and micrantha. 
Bred by Alan Bloom and introduced in 1932. Still available and still one of the best performers in the midwest.

Pink buds and calyces, white, tubular flowers on stems to 12" tall. 
Small green foliage on very dense mounds. Needs very well drained soils and prefers it somewhat dry. Hardy to z4. Selected by Ted Kipping.

Foliage emerges peach with silver veil, aging to burgundy. Nicely ruffled. Large dense mound.

Pink flowers on dark stems to 30" tall. 
Metallic pinkish-purple foliage, dense mound. Fairly large and vigorous. 
Genetics likely involve villosa, americana, sanguinea and micrantha.

Heuchera maxima

Pink buds and calyces, white flowers on stems to 24" tall. Long-blooming
Green foliage. Largest foliage of the genus, leaves to 7" or more across, and also one of the largest species. Endemic to the Channel Islands off the coast of California. Very drought tolerant. One of the least hardy species, hardy to about 10 degrees Fahrenheit.

Rich mahogany  colored foliage on large dense mounds. Leaves are 6" or more across.
