The goal of The Heuchera Library is to be an information and pictorial reference site for coral bells (Heuchera), foam flower (Tiarella), foamy bells (xHeucherella), and some of their close allies. We do our best to include proper nomenclature, cultivar and trademark names, plant protection information, as well as genetic and breeding information.
Heuchera (pronounced HOY-ker-uh) is a diverse genus of plants that is found throughout the US and parts of Canada and northern Mexico and consists of about 37 species. Many species are inter-fertile and there are now hundreds of cultivars.
